Why Become an Accountant?
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, at an 11% increase in job opportunity, accounting currently faces faster-than-average job growth.
When you enroll in one of our accounting programs, you sign up to become an investigator. You will learn how to problem-solve accounting and finance issues, skills that you can continue to develop as you move forward with your education.
Central Penn Provides Real-World Learning
At Central Penn, we provide our students pursuing their Accounting Bachelor of Science and Associate in Science degrees the opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world learning. While our program does focus on accounting theories and principles, we also value the importance of hands-on learning in encouraging a deeper level of understanding.
Our courses get as close to real-world as possible through hands-on learning of popular accounting computer applications, including TaxAct and Drake. These computer tools are taught by professors who are knowledgeable in the field and maintain their CPAs.
With the topics explored in Central Penn’s accounting programs, you can become competent in the accounting processes used by a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, service and non-profit or government entities.
