When you enroll in one of our accounting programs, you sign up to become an investigator. You will learn how to problem-solve accounting and finance issues, skills that you can continue to develop as you move forward with your education.
At Central Penn, we provide our students pursuing their Accounting Bachelor of Science and Associate in Science degrees the opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world learning. While our program does focus on accounting theories and principles, we also value the importance of hands-on learning in encouraging a deeper level of understanding.
Our courses get as close to real-world as possible through hands-on learning of popular accounting computer applications, including TaxAct and Drake. These computer tools are taught by professors who are knowledgeable in the field and maintain their CPAs.
With the topics explored in Central Penn’s accounting programs, you can become competent in the accounting processes used by a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, service and non-profit or government entities.
Our professors value having the ability to share their knowledge with Central Penn’s accounting students.
“It was never a problem to go ask Professor Shuster questions. She made time for me and now we’re really close friends. It is great to know that someone sees what you’re doing and that you are appreciated. That feels good.”
